Cherry blossoms

The rain stopped. The clouds blew away. And just before supper-time, the sun came out.

So did the cherry blossoms.

The first open flowers on the tree.

Only two days ago, all the buds were mere swollen pink tips, tightly closed. All they wanted was a few warm hours.

Bumper crop coming up!

Now, if it would only stay dry for the weekend, we, and half the Lower Mainland, could head for the beach.

A Skywatch post.

  6. Look at that sunshine! Gray day here, even some rain mixed with snow. My yard is still covered. Spring has been slow coming to us this year. Haven't been blogging or even reading blogs ... not spending a lot of time on the computer these days. Had a moose in my yard off and on for a while. One day I'll post a video of her.

  7. Hi, Eileen! I hope you're not on the computer because you're so busy doing happy things! But it's good to hear from you.

I'll be watching for that moose video!

I'm having to moderate all comments because Blogger seems to have a problem notifying me. Sorry about that. I will review them several times daily, though, until this issue is fixed.

Also, I have word verification on, because I found out that not only do I get spam without it, but it gets passed on to anyone commenting in that thread. Not cool!
